From the rock to thin section

Since 2009, Thin Section Lab is specialized in the preparation of geological and archaeological samples from all over the world. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, our workshop allows us to produce high-quality thin sections, wafers, and polished sections from a wide variety of materials (rocks, cores, sands, ceramics, etc.). We also offer rock powders with specific granulometries, ideal for your chemical or XRD analyses, and provide heavy mineral concentrates for advanced analyses and isotopic dating.
